MCG joins prestigious group that includes companies such as Intuit, Zappos, Microsoft

TALLAHASSEE, FL. (August 25, 2011) – Moore Consulting Group (MCG) has made Inc. Magazine’s   annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, a prestigious national ranking based on both revenue and employee growth.

Moore Consulting Group is the only Tallahassee company to make the 2011 Inc. 500|5000 list, which includes companies such as Under Armour, HubSpot, Microsoft and Jamba Juice.

MCG earned the position of 3,960 in the nation on the 5,000-company list that covers every industry, from health care and government services to software and retail. The integrated communications firm now employees a full-time staff of 25, including graphic designers, social media experts, media relations veterans, and multilingual directors who work for a broad spectrum of local, state and national clients.

The Inc. Magazine ranking comes on the heels of Moore Consulting Group being named, for the second year in a row, one of Florida Trend’s Best Places to Work. The Trend rankings are based on company policies, practices and demographics, as well as employee feedback. Moore Consulting Group is the only Tallahassee company to make Trend list for the second year in a row. This year, the firm is ranked No. 5, up from its No. 6 ranking in 2010.

“I am so proud of these two honors—a fast growing company that is also a model for a great place to work, “says Karen Moore, APR, CPRC, founder and CEO of Moore Consulting Group. “When I founded Moore Consulting Group almost 20 years ago, I wanted this firm to build as its legacy three things: A portfolio of interesting public relations opportunities and campaigns that support positive and worthy issues; an office that feels like a comfortable home for both staff and clients; and, that we be acknowledged as a good corporate citizen. We are achieving all of these things, and making the Inc. Magazine list is a testament to the success that comes with staying true to our company’s founding mission.”

The Inc. Magazine ranking has inspired Moore Consulting Group to invite companies and businesses to share advice and tips on what makes their organization a best place to work, as well as what they are doing to grow the business and be successful.

“This firm’s success is, in so many ways, linked to the success of the many clients we have represented over the years,” Moore says. “What better way for us to continue growing stronger, and to help fellow businesses grow, than by sharing our collective best practices?”
