Jim Hunt Talks Social Media with Association of Fundraising Professionals

Jim Hunt, Vice President of Business Development at Moore Consulting Group, was the featured speaker at the Big Bend Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) monthly meeting in February. Hunt discussed various social media strategies as well as the value of integrating social media tactics into traditional outreach efforts for non-profit organizations.
“Social media offers professional associations excellent opportunities to communicate, advocate and advance their philanthropic efforts,” said Jim Hunt. “Success in social media endeavors, including advocacy and fundraising, requires strategic engagement and incorporation with traditional media presence.”
The Tallahassee Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is one of several hundred throughout the world working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research and education programs.
