Karen Moore earns top marks at Florida health care conference

Moore Consulting Group Founder and CEO Karen Moore, APR, CPRC served as a speaker at the 2010 annual conference hosted by the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association and the Florida Council for Community Mental Health. Her presentation on advocacy was ranked one of the best of the conference for context and speaker presentation based on evaluations from the more than 900 people in attendance.
“I was honored to have the opportunity to present on such an important topic to this group of key state leaders,” said Moore after the event. “Issues like substance abuse and mental health have a profound impact on the success of our state, and I applaud the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association and the Florida Council for Community Mental Health for continuing to provide opportunities for collaboration through forums such as this conference.”
The conference was held in Orlando August 11-13, and focused on the changes health care reform will bring and the need to integrate behavioral health care with health care.
