TALLAHASSEE, February 10, 2011 – Tallahassee-based Moore Consulting Group, one of the top 60 integrated communications firms in the nation, is pleased to announce the businesses and organizations selected for our 11 in 2011 program, a part of the firm’s pro bono community outreach efforts.
Moore Consulting Group, in partnership with the Tallahassee Democrat and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, will provide complimentary senior-level communications counsel to the 11 businesses, organizations and non-profit groups during a series of sessions throughout the year that cover topics such as marketing, branding and social media.
“We all have a vested interest in making sure that our local businesses succeed. That’s why we created 11 in 2011,” said Karen Moore, founder and CEO of Moore Consulting Group. “This program allows Moore Consulting Group the opportunity to share our resources with important organizations that may not otherwise have access to such tools in this tight economy. “
The 11 in 2011 participants were selected from a strong pool of 101 applicants by representatives from Moore Consulting Group, the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and the Tallahassee Democrat. They are:
• AMWAT Moving and Warehousing
• Animal Shelter Foundation
• FAMU Small Business Development Center
• From the Ground Up
• Lee’s Place
• LegisApp
• LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts

The participants will meet later this month with the firm’s award-winning public relations team for the first of six bi-monthly sessions, to be hosted at Moore Consulting Group’s Tallahassee office. These companies will receive invaluable guidance in achieving their mission, assistance maximizing their resources and the opportunity for media and community exposure. They’ll also have the opportunity to learn and grow by sharing their best practices with one another.
The 11 in 2011 participants represent a variety of industries and interests, from construction and small business development to social media technology and charitable resources for grieving children and hungry families.
